Lifespan Neuropsychology provides services in three locations:

• Online - Psychotherapy for adults and couples is provided via a HIPPAA-compliant secure teleconference platform. This is a good fit for some patients: it gives patients greater flexibility in scheduling, more privacy, and eliminates commute time. Research has demonstrated that remote psychotherapy is as effective as in-person psychotherapy.

• Jerusalem - Dr. Peryl Agishtein has an office in Har Nof, Jerusalem, and practices both adult and child psychotherapy in-person in this office most of the year.

• Brooklyn, New York, USA - Dr. Agishtein is located in NY twice a year for limited amounts of time to perform comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations. For 2023, she will be in NY in January and in July-August. Contact us now to secure your appointment while there is still availability.​​

• A results-oriented consultation to give parents the answers they need quickly and efficiently. 

• This general process is as follows:

  • A thorough developmental history allows for a holistic contextualization of the potential issues.

  • A comprehensive intake interview with the parents.

  • Standardized questionnaires and tests are given out to the parents, the child, and the teachers.

  • An extensive feedback session is scheduled where Dr. Agishtein will discuss her findings, and discuss the next steps and recommendations.

• Since the consultation service is shorter and does not include a written report, both the waiting time and the fees are greatly reduced. Contact us for more information.

• Lifespan Neuropsychology is a private practice and is non-insurance based; payment is expected in full at the time of service. However, patients with out-of-network coverage may be able to obtain partial reimbursement for the fees they paid for neuropsychological evaluations. Upon request, Dr. Agishtein can provide a superbill for NY-based services which will include diagnostic codes, service codes, and dates/ fees of services.

• Dr. Agishtein is trained to provide neuropsychological evaluations to children ages 5 and up, as well as adolescents and adults.

• Dr. Agishtein provides couples therapy to couples of all ages, including those seeking premarital counseling. As an EFT-trained clinician, Dr. Agishtein always seeks supervision and consultation for couples cases, to ensure that the couples therapy is as effective as possible.

• Dr. Agishtein provides cognitive behavioral therapy for teenage girls and adult women.
